ZambiaThis splendid country has emerged fairly recently to become one of Africa’s finest safari destinations. Her secret lies in being able to offer simultaneous wildlife and wilderness. South Luangwa National Park boasts some of the highest leopard densities in Africa! Fancy photographing elephants drinking while drifting unobtrusively down the famous Zambezi River? Then Lower Zambezi National Park must be included on your itinerary! If you enjoy photographing far off the beaten track then Zambia has a few jewels for you to explore. The Busanga Plains in Kafue National Park offer up cheetah in a remote and wild location. While the Liuwa Plains in the North West boast the 2nd largest wildebeest migration on the continent, with hardly anyone else there to witness it. The Bangweulu Swamps are home to the rare and eccentric Shoebill, which is reason enough to entice any avian-inclined photographers. Zambia is reputed to offer the best bush-walking in Africa, so why not take your camera for a walk and spend a night sleeping out in the bush? If the words Lechwe, Oribi and Puku are not familiar, then a visit to Zambia might just be what your portfolio needs. The Victoria Falls is a wonderful starting or ending point for any safari, and offers a spectacular landscape photographic opportunity. Zambia is a well-balanced exposure, offering excellent photographic opportunities within splendid wilderness areas. Contact me here if you would like to plan photographic safari to Zambia!
